About the Event

T.E.A.M. 4 Travis was recognized for our efforts to raise awareness about Isolated Congenital Asplenia. Arizona Governor Doug Ducey signed a proclamation declaring August 25, 2021 the T.E.A.M. 4 Travis Asplenia Awareness Day. Our founder Allison received the proclamation from Governor Ducey's staffer Tyler Mastin on what would have been Travis' 7th birthday. Although this rare disease robbed us of physically celebrating with Travis, we think he would have approved of a Governor recognizing the work his foundation is doing to prevent other children from having the same fatal outcome.
