About the Event
Hosted by T.E.A.M. 4 Travis, Make a Splash for Rare Disease is an event designed to bring together rare disease families from Goodyear and surrounding communities for an evening of family-friendly food, fun & fellowship. We'll present information on topics important to the rare disease community, including advocacy, awareness, Newborn Screening & genetic testing/genomic sequencing, family resources, community building and more. It will be a great time for your kids and you to relax and cool-off in the beautiful Goodyear aquatics pool and enjoy connecting with others who are living with or loving someone rare. Lifeguards from the City of Goodyear will be present to ensure everyone's safety during the event.
